Have you ever painted a room? If so, you probably realize that it is not too difficult. In fact, as long as you use the right tools, have patience and a steady hand, you should be able to accomplish a pretty good job. Of course, the first step to a good paint job is getting good paint. While you can find some really cheap paint out there, you will not be happy with the results when using inferior materials. In the end, you will probably need to do more coats of cheap paint, and it still won’t look as good. Getting a high-quality primer and paint to start off with, you also want to pair it up with high-quality brushes. If you plan on using oil-based paint, you want a brush with natural bristles, but if you are going to use water-based paint, then you will need a synthetic brush since the natural bristles will suck the moisture out of the paint and cause it to clump and streak.
Before you start the actual painting, you should have a plan in place for where you need to cut in from and where to use a roller. The less you have to go back over an area, the better the final result will be.
